A Budget Friendly Octa Core Smartphone coming soon on Snapdeal
You will soon find an octa core powered smartphone with an affordable price tag on Snapdeal.com. Snapdeal has posted an image on their official Facebook account with a tag line ‘Licensed to Thrill’. They are also running a contest wherein the winner who guesses the closest price will win the handset.
The image really does not reveal anything, apart from that it’s red coloured with rear camera and LED flash. Some of the smartphone specs have also been revealed – it is Octa Core powered sporting a 5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and there are dual cameras. A 13MP AF on the rear and a 5MP front facing selfie camera.
The specs somewhat resembles Yureka handset that is also octa core powered, with 13MP rear camera / 5MP front but with a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. If the hardware is the same (64 bit) the handset could be priced slightly lower than what Yureka is selling for.
The undisclosed handset could also be powered by 1.7GHz MediaTek Octa core processor (MT6592) in any case I expect the price will be lower than Yureka.
